Travel independently for several miles of the Fowey River enjoying the fabulous scenery and wildlife from a kayak
The Fowey river is surrounded by wooded slopes and water meadows mostly owned by the National Trust, with nature reserves, salt marsh and bird sanctuaries on either side. The whole area is teeming with Herons, Wildfowl, Cormorants, and even Kingfishers, and, quietly gliding by, you can get closer to them than you have ever been.
*This activity is designed for experienced canoeists or kayakers!
For independent hire you must be experienced and at least one of your group must be over eighteen years of age. If you are new to kayaking or inexperienced you should join one of our accompanied canoe expeditions Fowey River Expeditions.
All kayaks come with tide briefing, safety information, buoyancy aids, seat rests and paddles.
